REAP

How to Read the Bible

At Vista, we believe that the best practice to live God's Way is to read and apply God's Word. In the Bible, Galatians 6:7 says "A man reaps what he sows." Because of this truth, we believe that if you want to harvest the things of God in your life you have to plant God's word in your life. A simple way to do this is to spend time daily reading a small portion of the Bible with our REAP daily Bible reading plan.

What is REAP?

Read & Record

Read the chapter for each day and write down a verse or two that stands out to you.

Examine

What do you think God is saying through this verse you just wrote down?  Write down one or two sentences about what the Bible is saying here.

Apply

Personalize what you have read by asking yourself how this verse applies to your life right now.  Write down how you can apply this verse to your daily life.

Pray

Write out a personal message from you to God based on what you just learned and ask Him to help you apply this truth in your life.

In November of 2024 we will be reading through

Hebrews as well as portions of Psalms
